March sees the launch of the 2011 Big Spring Clean in Leicester.
There will be Community events, the One Clean Leicester smart phone app will be rolled out for general use, grot spots will be tackles and the services available to residents of the City will be promoted.
I've set this blog up to show some of the amazing work being done by Council officers, partners and incredible volunteers.

Our Cleansing and Graffiti removal teams do an incredible job every day of the year, cleaning litter and debris off our streets, this campaign is about tackling those areas, often on private land that bring our City down and about making sure people know the impact and cost of littering.
Cleaning our streets is usually a fairly thankless task so I'd like to take this opportunity to place on record my gratitude for their hard work and commitment.
